Parental Awareness of Our Best Practices

It is crucial that parents are aware of the services the school is providing. Miles for Smiles LLC would love to be present to share information about our services and/or assist in delivering the news to the community. We have found that some of the best practices for schools are:

• Utilization of the school's J-calls (sample script to use)
• Utilization of the school’s PA system to remind students and teachers to bring home and return the enrollment forms by the designated date
• Newsletters - school newsletters and classroom newsletters can include reminders about the service
• Websites
• Registration packets
• In-school signage and banners
• School events - open house, back-to-school nights, literacy events, collaborating with Miles for Smiles for dental health month (February), etc.
